SquishMan.com (“Squish Man,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy and the privacy of your family. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Order information: when you buy something, we receive your name, email address, shipping address, phone number (if you provide one) and what you ordered.
- Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
- Messages: if you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include.
- Technical information: like most websites, our hosting provider automatically processes basic technical data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell or rent your personal information.
How we use information
We use information to process and deliver your orders, send order and shipping updates, answer your questions, prevent fraud, keep required business and tax records, and send updates you have asked for.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the services that help us run the store, and only what they need:
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Printful — printing and shipping Squish Squad Shop merchandise (your name, shipping address, email and phone, if provided).
- Lulu — printing and shipping books.
- Cloudflare — website hosting and security.
- Shipping carriers — delivering your package.
We may also disclose information if required by law.
Children’s privacy
Squish Man books are made for children, but our store, email updates and contact options are for parents, guardians, teachers and other adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email contact@squishman.com and we will delete it.
Cookies and local storage
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The site may store small preferences in your browser, such as your language choice. Stripe’s checkout pages use their own cookies to process payments securely.
How long we keep information
We keep order records for as long as needed to provide customer support and meet tax and accounting requirements, then delete them.
Your choices
You can ask us to show, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you updates, by emailing contact@squishman.com. Some records may need to be kept to meet legal requirements.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will change the date at the top of this page.
